Hyatung Falls
Hyatung or Hyatrung Falls ( ne, ह्यत्रुङ्ग झरना) is the fourth highest waterfall in Asia and second in Nepal. It is located between Ishibu and Samdu VDCs of Terhathum District in Kosi Zone of eastern Nepal and has a height of 365 metres. It has been stated, in an article in the ''Nepali Times'', that the falls are "reportedly the largest in Asia". moreover, as per recent news published in various article it is the third highest in the Asia. Tourism Efforts are being made to encourage tourists in the area but at present facilities are not well developed. The waterfall is described as being at one day's walk from Myanglung bazaar. Ishibu
Ishibu () is one of the 32 village development committees of Tehrathum District in Province No. 1 of Nepal. This village is to the north of the district headquarters at Myanglung. It had a population of 2846 in 616 households according to the census of 2011. Tourism The area located between Ishibu and Samdu is most popular and well known for its natural panoramas. One of the most remarkable objects existing here is Hyatung waterfall which is known throughout Asia and the world. Literacy rate This community was very disadvantaged and lagged behind in education over the past few years but after a gradual changes in improving the literacy rate from every sub-division number, the rate of literacy has been changing substantially throughout in villages. Tamur River
The Tamor River is a major river in eastern Nepal, which begins around Kanchenjunga. The Tamor and the Arun River, Tibet-Nepal, Arun join the Sun Kosi, Sun Koshi at Triveni, Nepal, Tribenighat to form the giant Koshi River, Saptakoshi which flows through Mahabharat Range on to the Gangetic plain Koshi river system The Koshi or Sapta Kosi drains eastern Nepal. It is known as Sapt Koshi because of the seven rivers which join together in east-central Nepal to form this river. The main rivers forming the Koshi system are – the Sun Kosi, Sun Koshi, the Indravati River, Nepal, Indravati River, the Bhote Koshi, the Dudh Kosi, Dudh Koshi, Arun River (Nepal), Arun River, Barun River, and Tamur River. Village Development Committee (Nepal)
A village development committee ( ne, गाउँ विकास समिति; ''gāum̐ vikās samiti'') in Nepal was the lower administrative part of its Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development. Each district had several VDCs, similar to municipalities but with greater public-government interaction and administration. There were 3,157 village development committees in Nepal. Each village development committee was further divided into several wards ( ne, वडा) depending on the population of the district, the average being nine wards. Kosi Zone
Kosi or Koshi ( ne, कोसी अञ्चल, ne, कोशी अञ्चल ) was one of the fourteen zones of Nepal until the restructure of zones to provinces. The headquarters of Kosi Zone was Biratnagar which was also its largest city. Other cities of Kosi Zone were Inaruwa, Dharan, Dhankutta, Jhumka, Duhabi and Itahari. Myanglung
Myanglung ( ne, म्याङलुङ) is a municipality and the district headquarters of Terhathum District of Province No. 1 in eastern Nepal. The municipality is situated at an elevation of about 1500 metres above sea level. Myanglung was converted into a municipality from a Village development committee (Nepal), village development committee on 18 May 2014, merging the existing village development committees of Myanglung, Piple, Kosi, Piple, Jirikhimti, Ambung, Sabla and Tamfula, Tamphula.
