Hyathis
Hyathis (also known as Hyanthis) is a fictional extraterrestrial monarch published by DC Comics. She first appeared in ''Justice League of America'' #3 (February 1961) and was created by Gardner Fox and Mike Sekowsky. In all her ''World's Finest Comics'' appearances she is referred to as Hyanthis. Fictional character biography Hyathis is the ''Panala'' (Queen) of Alstair in the Antares solar system, Alstair shares the solar system with four other planets: Dhor, Llarr, and Mosteel which is farthest from Antares. Hyathis appears to be a ''Plant Elemental'' with empathic control over all plant life on Alstair. Alstairans are all plant/humanoid hybrids because they diverged from the common protozoan evolutionary branch linking Flora and Fauna much later on than life did on Earth. All plant based Alstairans receive part of their nourishment from sunlight and have broad leaves instead of hair. Hawkman (Katar Hol)
Hawkman (Katar Hol) is a DC Comics superhero. He is the Silver Age of Comic Books, Silver Age, Bronze Age of Comic Books, Bronze Age and New 52 Hawkman. Created by Gardner Fox and Joe Kubert, he first appeared in ''The Brave and the Bold'' #34 (February–March 1961). There are two versions of Katar Hol, the Silver Age/Pre-Crisis version and the post-''Hawkworld''/Post-Crisis version. Publication history The Silver Age Hawkman (Katar Hol) was first introduced in ''The Brave and the Bold'' #34 by artist Joe Kubert and writer Gardner Fox. At this time DC had already rebooted many of its characters such as the Flash (comics), Flash and Green Lantern. Hawkman's first appearance sold well and spawned five more tryout issues in ''The Brave and the Bold''. Kanjar Ro
Kanjar Ro is a supervillain appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. Publication history He first appeared in ''Justice League of America'' #3 (February 1961) in a story entitled "The Slave Ship of Space" and was created by Gardner Fox and Mike Sekowsky. Fictional character biography Kanjar Ro is the dictator of the planet Dhor in the Antares star system. Dhor is constantly at war with three other Antarean worlds: Alstair, ruled by the plant-like Queen Hyathis; Mosteel, ruled by the metal-skinned Kromm; and Llarr, ruled by the lizard-like Emperor Sayyar. In his first appearance, he enslaves the Justice League with his Gamma Gong, and uses them to battle the other three monarchs by threatening to leave all humanity in a paralyzed state, to only be released if all three monarchs spoke Kanjar Ro's name at the same time. Superboy
Superboy is the name of several fictional superheroes appearing in American comicbooks published by DC Comics. These characters have been featured in several eponymous comic series, in addition to ''Adventure Comics'' and other series featuring teenage superhero groups. From the character's first published story in 1944 until 1992, the title "''Superboy''" was applied to versions of the adventures of Superman, Superman (Kal-El) as a boy, teenager or young adult. The primary settings for the stories were the fictional town of Smallville (comics), Smallville, the Legion of Super-Heroes, 30th Century (where Superboy featured in time travel adventures with the Legion of Super-Heroes) and universities attended by Clark Kent.
