Huub Broers (born 5 December 1951 in Voeren) is a Belgium, Belgian politician and since 2000 elected by the ruling Voerbelangen party as burgemeester of Voeren. He represented Christen-Democratisch en Vlaams, CD&V until 14 July 2010, thereafter, he became affiliated to the New Flemish Alliance. He was co-optation, co-opted as a member of the Belgian Senate on that day. Belgian Senate
The Senate ( nl, Senaat, ; french: Sénat, ; german: Senat) is one of the two chambers of the bicameral Federal Parliament of Belgium, the other being the Chamber of Representatives. It is considered to be the "upper house" of the Federal Parliament.
