Hussain Al Jassmi
Hussain Al Jassmi ( ar, حسين الجسمي ; born August 25, 1979) is an Emirati pianist, composer, musician and singer who is well known in the Arab world. Al Jassmi was born in Khorfakkan in August 1979 to Emirati parents. He released his first single "Bawada'ak" followed by "Wallah Mayiswa" and "Bassbour Al Fourgakom". In 2008, Al Jassmi received the Murex d'Or award, under the category of "Best Arabic Male Singer." His most popular song is an Egyptian Shaabi song, called " Boshret Kheir", written and composed by Amr Mostafa as a pro-elections campaign in Egypt. Al Jassmi had many concerts all around the world. One of his well known performances include a performance in the Vatican's annual Christmas concert, becoming the first Arab to do so. He also has multiple events and concerts in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, elsewhere in the Middle East and as performed at the opening ceremony of Expo 2020 in Dubai, UAE. 2019 Special Olympics World Summer Games
The 2019 Special Olympics World Summer Games ( ar, 2019 الألعاب الأولمبية الصيفية الخاصة بألعاب العالم الصيفية, ) were a special olympics multi-sport event for athletes with intellectual disabilities in the tradition of the Special Olympics movement. Assala Mostafa Hatem Nasri ( ar, أصالة مصطفى حاتم نصري; born 15 May 1969), commonly known as Assala ( ar, أصالة), is a Syrian musical artist. She is one of the most popular and famous Arab singers. Early life and career Assala was born in Damascus, Syria to a middle class couple. Mostafa Nasri, Assala's father, was a revered composer and singer. Assala began her musical career by performing patriotic, religious, and children's songs when she was four years old.
