Abū ʿAbd Allāh al-Ḥusayn ibn ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib ( ar, أبو عبد الله الحسين بن علي بن أبي طالب; 10 January 626 – 10 October 680) was a grandson of the Islamic prophet Muhammad and a son of Ali ibn Abi Talib and Muhammad's daughter Fatima, as well as a younger brother of Hasan ibn Ali. He is claimed to be the third Imam of Shia Islam after his brother, Hasan, and before his son, Ali ibn Husayn Zayn al-Abidin. Being a grandson of the prophet, he is a member of the Ahl al-Bayt. Hossein Namazi ( fa, حسین نمازی; born 1945) is an Iranian economist and academic, who served in different cabinet posts. Early life and education Namazi was born in 1945. He received a PhD in economics in Austria. Career Namazi is an economist and academic. He served as the minister of finance in different governments of Iran. First he served in this post from March 1981 to 1985. In 1985 he was approved for the post by the Majlis, getting 106 for votes. He was reappointed as minister of finance to the cabinet led by President Mohammad Khatami in August 1997. He succeeded Morteza Mohammadkhan in the post. When Namazi was in office, there was a rivalry between him and Mohsen Nourbakhsh, governor of Central Bank of Iran. Hossein Fekri (Persian: حسین فکری, March 15, 1924 – July 1, 2003) was an Iranian football player and coach for the Iran national football team. Hossein Ghanbari ( fa, حسين قنبری, born February 20, 1988) is an Iranian football player. He currently plays for the IPL club Iranjavan bushehr as a midfielder. Hossein Marashi ( fa, حسین مرعشی; born 17 November 1958 in Rafsanjan) is an Iranian politician. He served as the Iranian Vice President for Cultural Heritage and Tourism from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, Marashi represented Kerman in the Iranian parliament. He strongly backed opposition candidate Mousavi in the 2009 Iranian election. Hossein Navab (1897–1972) was an Iranian diplomat, who served as foreign minister briefly in 1952. Career Navab was a career diplomat. Hossein Panahi
Hossein Panahi Dezhkooh ( fa, حسین پناهی دژکوه; 28 August 1956 – 4 August 2004) was an Iranian actor and poet. After graduating from high school, due to his father's recommendation, he found his way to Ayatollah Golpaygaani's religious class. He then returned to his hometown as a religious figure, but this lasted only for a few months. He then moved to Tehran and started studying in Anahita art school for four years and graduated as an actor and a screenwriter. He started his acting career in a TV show named: Mahalleh Behdaasht (Hygiene Neighborhood). He then performed in some TV shows written by himself which were not much successful. He later received recognition from a show named ''Two ducks in fog''. He was the writer and director of the show as well as performing in it.
