Husna
Husna was a Pakistani actress in the late 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. She was first introduced as a child star in film ''Jan-e-Bahar'' (1958) and played the daughter of Sudhir and Musarrat Nazir. She appeared in such films as ''Changez Khan'' (1958) and ''Ajab Khan'' (1961). She never became a top heroine and mainly played the side-heroine or vamp roles in Urdu and Punjabi films during her long career. Then came her big breakthrough in the block buster film ''Ajab Khan'' (1961), starring again opposite Sudhir. She appeared in ''Rani Khan'' (1960) and ''Dosti'' (1971), among other musical films. Neela Parbat
Neela Parbat ( ur, ) is a 1969 Pakistani Urdu film directed by Ahmad Bashir. The cast included Mohammad Ali, Husna, Sofia Bano, Komal, Zareen Panna and Agha Talish. Story theme It was Pakistan's one of the earliest experimental feature films. It had experimentation by the film director with the Freudian sensual themes which was very unusual for Pakistan at that time. So the film received a 'for adults only' rating. In this film, actress Komal had a really interesting foray into the parallel cinema. She portrayed the sensual play thing for actor Mohammad Ali. ''Shaheed'' () is a 1962 Pakistani Urdu language music blockbuster classical film directed and produced by Khalil Qaiser under the banner of K K Productions. It is written by Riaz Shahid, while the music is composed by Rashid Attre. It features Musarrat Nazir, Allauddin and Husna in the lead among other protagonist characters. It is recognized one of the successful films of the Pakistani cinema while its film budge and theatrical box office metrics are uncertain. In 2016, the Lok Virsa Museum screened the film as part of retaining historical film records in the museum. Jaal, a 1973 Pakistani Urdu colour film, is a romantic musical film produced by Waheed Murad and directed by Iftikhar Khan. It was the first colour movie that was produced by Waheed Murad. The film was released on 31 August 1973. It starred Waheed Murad, Nisho, Husna, Shaista Qaiser and Nanna. ''Naila'' is a 1965 Pakistani musical romance drama film, directed by Sharif Nayyar who also wrote the screenplay. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Razia Butt. It stars Shamim Ara in the titular role with Santosh Kumar and Darpan in substantial roles. The film revolves around Naila, who loves her fiancé Zafar, but Zafar's brother falls for her. The film was released on 29 October 1965. The music of the film was composed by Inayat Hussain. The film became popular due to its song "Gham-e-dil ko, in ankhon se, chhalak jana bhi aata hai" which was performed by Mala. The film was also screened at Lok Virsa Museum of Pakistan in 2016. Shah Zaman Khan Afridi better known as Sudhir (Urdu: ) or Lala Sudhir (25 January 1921 – 19 January 1997) was a Pakistani actor, director and producer. Sudhir was a highly respected film personality. He is known as the first action hero of Pakistani cinema. His film roles symbolized valour and bravery. Musarrat Nazir Khawaja ( ur, ; born 13 October 1937) is a Pakistani singer and film actress, who acted in many Urdu and Punjabi films. She, many years later, also sang solo, mostly wedding and folk songs. Early life Her parents were a Punjabi middle-class family Kashmiri origin from Lahore. Her father Khwaja Nazir Ahmed, worked as a registered contractor in Lahore Municipal corporation. Early in her life, her parents wanted her to be a doctor, and provided her with the best possible education they could afford. Musarrat passed the matriculation examination (10th grade) with distinction and passed the intermediate examination (12th grade) from Kinnaird College in Lahore.
