Ziya Hurşit
Ziya Hurşit Bey (1892 – July 14, 1926) was one of the first Grand National Assembly of Turkey deputies. He was executed in 1926 for attempting to assassinate Mustafa Kemal. Hurşit Atak
Hurşit Atak (born May 24, 1991) is a Turkish weightlifter competing in the −62 kg division. He is a native of Şırnak in southeastern Turkey. Currently, he is a member of the ASKİ Sports Club in Ankara. Career Hırşit Atak was born to a village guard father in Şırnak on May 23, 1991. He has fourteen siblings, one of them being his twin brother. Atak became champion already at the national high school tournament held 2005 in Konya. In 2006, he became national champion in his age category in Aydın. At the 2010 World Junior Championship held in Sofia, Bulgaria, he won three silver medals in the 62 kg division. Atak won the silver medal in the Clean&Jerk category and the bronze medal lifting 289.0 kg in total at the 2011 European Championships in Kazan, Russia. Hurşit Güneş
Hursit Gunes (born 23 April 1957) is a Turkish politician and professor of economics, who had served as deputy chairman of Republican People's Party (CHP); and he has been deputy of Kocaeli Province since 2011. He was born on to Turan Güneş and Nermin Solmaz Güneş in Ankara on 23 April 1957. After his high school education in Ankara College, he received his BA with honors in Economics and Politics from University of Kent at Canterbury in 1980. He later received his Magister in Scienta Economica degree from University of Wales, Cardiff. He started his academic career as a research assistant at Marmara University in 1984. Hurşit Tolon
Ahmet Hurşit Tolon (born 3 August 1942) is a retired Turkish general; he was Commander of the First Army of Turkey from 2004 to 2005. In August 2013 he was sentenced to aggravated life imprisonment as part of the Ergenekon trials. He was promoted to brigadier general in 1989. As a brigadier-general he was Chief of General Staff General Secretariat and Commander 28 Motorised Infantry Brigade. In 1993 he was promoted to the rank of Major General. Chief of General Staff General Secretariat in this rank, he served as Vice Commander of the Gendarmerie Public Order Corps Commander and Deputy Commander 7th Corps. Hurshid Pasha
Hurshid Ahmed Pasha (sometimes written Khurshid Ahmad Pasha; tr, Hurşid Ahmed Paşa, ; died 30 November 1822) was an Ottoman-Georgian general, and Grand Vizier during the early 19th century. Early life He was born in the Caucasus and was of Georgian descent. He was kidnapped and taken to Constantinople as a youth, converted to Islam and enrolled in the Janissaries. There he acquired the favour of Sultan Mahmud II and occupied several high positions. Egypt (1801–05) Appointed mayor of Alexandria after the French evacuated Egypt in 1801, he was named governor of Egypt in 1804 at Muhammad Ali's behest.
