''Hunnimeya Rathriyalli'' () is a 1980 Indian Kannada-language film, directed by Rajasekhar and produced by R. M. Subramanyam, Radha Narayanan and Jalaja Shanmugam. The film stars Lokesh, Ashok, Roopa Chakravarthi and M. S. Vasantha. The film was remade in Telugu as '' Punnami Naagu'', in Tamil as ''Pournami Nilavil'' and in Hindi as ''Jeene Ki Arzoo''. Rajasekhar (director)
Rajasekhar (died 1991), often credited as Rajasekhar Bachelor of Science, B.Sc., was an Indian film director and producer of Tamil cinema, Kollywood during the 1980s. He also directed films in Telugu language, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi. Career Rajasekhar was born in Nattarasankottai in then Ramanathapuram district and was a Bachelor of Science graduate. He made his debut as director with the 1980 Kannada movie ''Hunnimeya Rathriyalli''.He was a director of 1980s and his major works were with Rajnikanth and Kamal Haasan. Lokesh (; 19 May 1947 – 14 October 2004) was an Indian actor who appeared in Kannada plays and films. His wife Girija Lokesh is an actress and film director. His father was Subbaiah Naidu, who is credited to be first hero of Kannada silent movies. Lokesh made his film debut in the 1958 film '' Bhakta Prahlada''. Gangai Amaran is an Indian music composer, singer, lyricist, writer, film director and actor in Tamil films. Personal life Gangai Amaran was born in Pannaipuram in Theni district, Tamil Nadu in December 1947, as the youngest son of Daniel Ramaswamy and Chinnathayi. He is the younger brother of noted music director Ilaiyaraaja and father of director and actor Venkat Prabhu and actor, composer and singer Premji Amaren. He had two more elder brothers, R. D. ''Punnami Naagu'' is an Indian Telugu-language horror drama film directed by Rajasekhar and produced by AVM Productions. The film brought recognition to Chiranjeevi and his first Filmfare nomination. ''Jeene Ki Arzoo'' () is a 1981 Indian Hindi-language action film directed by Rajasekhar (director), Rajasekhar and produced by AVM Productions. Musuri Krishnamurthy (10 March 1930 – 16 March 1985) was an Indian actor, film director, producer, working in Kannada cinema. He was known mostly for his roles as a comedian. Early life Krishnamurthy was born on 10 March 1930 to B. S. Vishweshwaraiah and Subbamma. His father, Vishweshwaraiah was a zamindar in Bettadapura, Mysore. As a young boy, Krishnamurthy was drawn towards singing and acting. He exhibited his singing talent during a Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in front of carnatic vocalist Musiri Subramania Iyer and the then Maharaja of Mysore, Krishna Raja Wadiyar IV.
