The Hungarian Central Statistical Office (HSCO; hu, Központi Statisztikai Hivatal (KSH), ) is a quango responsible for collecting, processing and publishing statistics about Hungary, its economy, and its inhabitants. The office provides details for parliamentary and administrative offices, local councils and academia, financial institutions, the public at large and the media. Veszprém
Veszprém (; german: Weißbrunn, sl, Belomost) is one of the oldest urban areas in Hungary, and a city with county rights. It lies approximately north of the Lake Balaton. It is the administrative center of the county (comitatus or 'megye') of the same name. Etymology The name of the city originates from a Slavic personal name ''Bezprem'' or ''Bezprym'' (Proto-Slavic ''Bezprěmъ'') meaning "stubborn", "self-confident, not willing to retreat". Sándor Pintér
Sándor Pintér (born 3 July 1948) is a Hungarian politician and former top police officer. He served as Minister of the Interior from 1998 to 2002 and since 2010, in Viktor Orbán's cabinets. Biography Pintér was born and raised in Budapest. He graduated from the Police Officer College ( hu, Rendőrtiszti Főiskola) at Budapest in 1978. He worked in the criminal-investigation divisions of the national, Budapest and Pest County Police Departments between 1978 and 1991. He received degree at Law and Political Sciences in Eötvös Loránd University in 1986 at age of 38. Before his entry into the political arena after retirement, he worked as a police officer. The National Assembly ( hu, Országgyűlés, lit=Country Assembly) is the parliament of Hungary. The unicameral body consists of 199 (386 between 1990 and 2014) members elected to 4-year terms.
