Hundred Of Glyde
The County of Cardwell is one of the 49 cadastral counties of South Australia. It was proclaimed by Governor Dominick Daly in 1864 and named for Edward Cardwell, 1st Viscount Cardwell, who was appointed Secretary of State for the Colonies in the same year. It is located south east of Lake Albert abutting the coastline along the southern portion of the Coorong coastal lagoon. This includes the southern half of the contemporary local government area of the Coorong District Council and smaller parts of the Tatiara District and Kingston District council areas. Coorong National Park
Coorong National Park is a protected area located in South Australia about south-east of Adelaide, that predominantly covers a coastal lagoon ecosystem officially known as The Coorong and the Younghusband Peninsula on the Coorong's southern side. The western end of the Coorong lagoon is at the Murray Mouth near Hindmarsh Island and the Sir Richard Peninsula, and it extends about south-eastwards. Road access is from Meningie. The beach on the coastal side of the peninsula, the longest in Australia, is also commonly called The Coorong. The Coorong lies within the traditional lands of the Ngarrindjeri people, an Aboriginal Australian group. Notable locations within the park include Salt Creek, Policeman's Point, Jack Point, and Woods Well. __NOTOC__ Coombe is a locality in the Australian state of South Australia located about south-east of the state capital of Adelaide city centre, Adelaide and about south-east of the municipal seat in Tailem Bend, South Australia, Tailem Bend. Coombe ’s boundaries were created on 24 August 2000 and given the “local established name” which is derived from the Coombe Railway Station and ultimately from the cadastral unit of the Hundred of Coombe. Despite its name, the locality consists of land in south-east corner of the Hundred of Coombe in the west and the southern ends of the adjoining hundreds of Hundred of Archibald, Archibald and Hundred of Makin, Makin in the east. Tintinara is a town located in the Regions of South Australia#Murray and Mallee, Murray and Mallee region of the South East of South Australia. The town is situated on the Dukes Highway and the Adelaide-Melbourne railway line.
