Hum Dekhenge ( ur, - In english ''We shall see'') is a popular Urdu nazm, written by the Pakistani poet Faiz Ahmad Faiz. Originally written as ''Va Yabqá Vajhu Rabbika (And the countenance of your Lord will outlast all)'', it was included in the seventh poetry book of Faiz -- ''Mere Dil Mere Musafir''. Background The nazm was composed as a medium of protest against Zia Ul Haq's oppressive regime. Faiz Ahmad ''Faiz'' (13 February 1911 – 20 November 1984; Urdu, Punjabi: فیض احمد فیض) was a Pakistani poet, and author of Urdu and Punjabi literature. Faiz was one of the most celebrated Pakistani Urdu writers of his time. Outside literature, he has been described as "a man of wide experience" having been a teacher, an army officer, a journalist, a trade unionist and a broadcaster. Born in Punjab, British India, Faiz studied at Government College and Oriental College, and went on to serve in the British Indian Army. After partition, Faiz joined the liberal english-daily ''Pakistan Times as'' editor. He was also leading member of the Communist Party before his arrest and imprisonment in 1951 for his alleged part in a conspiracy to overthrow the Liaquat administration and replace it with a left-wing, pro-Soviet government. The eleventh season of Pakistani music television series ''Coke Studio'', titled as Coke Studio: The Sound of Nation, premiered in Pakistan on 10 August 2018. Musicians Ali Hamza and Zohaib Kazi were announced as a new producers and directors for the series, after Strings stepped down from the role to pursue their own music. The series was produced under Kazi and Hamza's production company Front Foot Media and was distributed by The Coca-Cola Company Pakistan. As a part of new module, Kazi and Hamza created a spin-off series ''Coke Studio Explorer'' which was released on 3 July 2018 and featured regional but largely unknown artists across the country where their performances were recorded live. The series opened to rave reviews and received critical acclaim. Despite the success of ''Explorer'' series, season eleven, received mixed reception from the critics. Idolatry
Idolatry is the worship of a cult image or "idol" as though it were God.
