Hulín
Hulín (; german: Hullein) is a town in Kroměříž District in the Zlín Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 6,500 inhabitants. Administrative parts Villages of Chrášťany and Záhlinice are administrative parts of Hulín. Geography Hulín is located about east of Kroměříž and northwest of Zlín. It lies in a flat landscape of the Upper Morava Valley. The Rusava and Mojena streams flow through the town. The Rusava flows into the Morava River, which forms part of the southern border of the territory. There is a system of several ponds south of the town. History The first written mention of Hulín is from 1224, when the visit of King Ottokar I was documented. In 1261, the village was donated to the church by King Ottokar II of Bohemia as acknowledgement to bishop Bruno von Schauenburg for his services. Shortly after, Hulín was promoted to a town. Zdeněk Zlámal
Zdeněk “Bobby” Zlámal (born 5 November 1985) is a Czech former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He has previously played for Spartak Hulín, Hanácká Slavia Kroměříž, Sparta Prague, Tescoma Zlín, Slovan Liberec, Udinese, Cádiz CF, Slavia Prague, Bari, Sigma Olomouc, Bohemians, Alanyaspor, Fastav Zlín, Heart of Midlothian, St Mirren and St Johnstone. Radek Drulák
Radek Drulák (born 12 January 1962) is a Czech former football striker and later manager. He played 16 matches for the Czech Republic and scored six goals. He also participated at the UEFA Euro 1996, and won a silver medal. Career Drulák was born in Hulín. Between December 1990 and June 1994, he had a spell abroad - playing his club football in Germany. Zdeněk Nehoda (born 9 May 1952, in Hulín) is a former Czech football forward. At international level, he played for Czechoslovakia, making 91 appearances and scoring 31 goals, usually as a right-winger. He was a participant in the 1982 FIFA World Cup. Bruno Von Schauenburg
Bruno von Schauenburg (also known as Bruno Olomucensis; 1205 – 1 or 17 February 1281 in Kroměříž) was a nobleman and Catholic priest of German descent, bishop of Olomouc in 1245–1281. He was one of the main advisors and diplomats of the Czech kings: Wenceslaus I of Bohemia, and especially Ottokar II of Bohemia, for whom he was the "right hand". As a bishop in history of Moravia he is known thanks to colonization and his role in founding many new towns.
