''Hugo'' (''Skærmtrolden Hugo'' in Danish, meaning "Hugo the Screen-Troll") is a media franchise created by the Danish company Interactive Television Entertainment (later ITE Media) in 1990 for the purpose of interactive television for children. It is based around the fictional character of Hugo, a friendly, small Scandinavian folklore troll engaged in a conflict against a wicked witch, often to save his family. Since its premiere in 1990, the ''Hugo'' game show has been aired in more than 40 countries, spawning dozens of video games for various platforms. Hugo spawned other merchandise, including dedicated magazines. As of 2012, the commercial parts of the franchise consist mostly of mobile games being published by the Danish company Hugo Games (renamed 5th Planet Games in 2018). Dual-tone multi-frequency signaling (DTMF) is a telecommunication signaling system using the voice-frequency band over telephone lines between telephone equipment and other communications devices and switching centers. DTMF was first developed in the Bell System in the United States, and became known under the trademark Touch-Tone for use in push-button telephones supplied to telephone customers, starting in 1963. DTMF is standardized as ITU-T Recommendation Q.23. It is also known in the UK as ''MF4''. Anders Morgenthaler (born 5 December 1972) is a Danish comics artist, children's book author, animator and film director. Biography Morgenthaler is a graduate of Designskolen Kolding and the National Film School of Denmark. Having worked as a TV host on the Danish TV channel DR's children's show ''KatjaKaj og BenteBent'', and directed several music videos, he eventually directed the feature film ''Princess'' in 2006, earning him a ''Nordisk Film Award''. Prior to this, comic strip '' Wulffmorgenthaler'' produced in collaboration with comedian Mikael Wulff, brought attention and success in 2001. Amiga
Amiga is a family of personal computers introduced by Commodore in 1985. The original model is one of a number of mid-1980s computers with 16- or 32-bit processors, 256 KB or more of RAM, mouse-based GUIs, and significantly improved graphics and audio compared to previous 8-bit systems. This includes the Atari ST—released earlier the same year—as well as the Macintosh and Acorn Archimedes. Deluxe Paint, often referred to as ''DPaint'', is a bitmap graphics editor created by Dan Silva for Electronic Arts and published for the then-new Amiga 1000 in November 1985. A series of updated versions followed, some of which were ported to other platforms. An MS-DOS release with support for the 256 color video graphics array, VGA standard became popular for creating pixel graphics in video games in the 1990s. Dan Silva previously worked on the ''Cut & Paste'' word processor (1984), also from Electronic Arts. History Deluxe Paint began as an in-house art development tool called Prism. A fans club is an organized group of fans, generally of a celebrity. Most fans clubs are run by fans who devote considerable time and resources to support them. There are also "official" fan clubs that are run by someone associated with the person or organization the club is centered on. Jungle Island, formerly Parrot Jungle, is a relaunched eco-adventure park on Watson Island, Miami, Florida, United States. Danish Language
