Hugh Sundae
Hugh Sundae (born Ian Hughes) is a New Zealand broadcaster and journalist. He is best known for his radio work at University of Auckland campus radio 95bFM, as a television presenter, and as the digital entertainment producer at the New Zealand Herald. Career Sundae started volunteering at Auckland University campus radio 95bFM in 1992 at the age of 14, helping out in the office. This eventually led to DJ work, with Sundae filling in for breakfast host Graeme Hill, at age 17. In 1995, Sundae was asked to turn a popular station promo for the New Zealand music show Freak the Sheep into a song. The comedy single "What's Wrong With Huntly" was released through Virgin Records and reached No.37 on the New Zealand singles chart. Born Ian Hughes, the name Hugh Sundae came from 95bFM manager Graeme Hill nicknaming Sundae 'Hugh'. Close Up (TV Programme)
''Close Up'' is a half-hour-long New Zealand current affairs programme produced by Television New Zealand. The programme aired at 7 pm weeknights (straight after '' One News'') on TV ONE and was presented in its final years by Mark Sainsbury. The last edition was broadcast on 30 November 2012. '' Seven Sharp'', a current affairs show aimed at a younger audience, took its place in 2013. The new ''Close Up'' began broadcasting on 2 November 2004 as a replacement for the ''Holmes'' show immediately after Paul Holmes announced his resignation from TVNZ and that he would be presenting a similar show on Prime in 2005. 20/20 (New Zealand)
20/20 is a New Zealand documentary television programme hosted by Carolyn Robinson, and based on the American Broadcasting Company programme of the same name. Between 1993 and 2014, the show contained a mix of locally produced and American content. The show now presents stories largely produced by its American counterpart, with a local presenter providing context at the beginning. The show uses the same graphics and theme music as the American version. From 1993 until 2003, the show was broadcast on Three, and was hosted by Louise Wallace. The format was then picked up by TVNZ, and was hosted on TVNZ 2 first by Miriama Kamo until 2011, then by Sonya Wilson until 2014. ''Intrepid Journeys'' is a New Zealand television series, which screens on TV ONE in New Zealand and on Vibrant TV Network in the United States. The Official New Zealand Music Chart ( mi, Te Papa Tātai Waiata Matua o Aotearoa) is the weekly New Zealand top 40 singles and albums charts, issued weekly by Recorded Music NZ (formerly Recording Industry Association of New Zealand). The Music Chart also includes the top-20 New Zealand artist singles and albums and top 10 compilation albums. All charts are compiled from data of both physical and digital sales from music retailers in New Zealand. Methodology The singles chart is currently sales and streaming data of songs. Kiwi FM
Kiwi FM (formerly Channel Z) was a New Zealand alternative music radio network. From 1996 to 2005, as Channel Z, it broadcast alternative and local music for a youth-oriented market. From 2005 to 2015, as Kiwi FM, it broadcast predominantly New Zealand independent music, to showcase local music across a wide range of genres and enable greater access to an international market for local contemporary artists.
