Hud Jackson
William "Hud" Jackson (born December 14, 1967) is an American football coach, athletic director, and former baseball coach. He is the head football coach for the University of Arkansas at Monticello, a position he has held since 2011. He previously was the offensive coordinator for Central Arkansas Bears football, Central Arkansas. He previously coached baseball and football for Rayne High School, Oberlin High School, and Central Catholic High School (Morgan City, Louisiana), Central Catholic High School. He also was the athletic director for Oberlin High School and Central Catholic High School and currently is the athletic director for the University of Arkansas at Monticello. He played college football and college baseball for McNeese Cowboys and Cowgirls, McNeese State as a quarterback and pitcher. College Baseball
College baseball is baseball that is played on the intercollegiate level at institutions of higher education. In comparison to football and basketball, college competition in the United States plays a smaller role in developing professional players, as baseball's professional minor leagues are more extensive, with a greater history of supplying players to MLB. Moving directly from high school to the professional level is more common in baseball than in football or basketball. However, if players do opt to enroll at a four-year college to play baseball, they must complete three years to regain professional eligibility, unless they reach age 21 before starting their third year of college.
