Hubert Wołąkiewicz (born 21 October 1985 in Skarżysko-Kamienna) is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Wiara Lecha Poznań. Career Club He started his football career in Tęcza 34 Płońsk. In 2002, he joined Amica Wronki and played for their junior teams until the end of the 2002–03 season, before being promoted to the reserve team. On 11 April 2006, he made his Ekstraklasa debut in a 0–3 defeat against Korona Kielce. After Amica merged with Lech Poznań, Wołąkiewicz remained in the team from Wronki and played with them in the 2006–07 season in the third league. In July 2007, Wołąkiewicz moved to the second-league Lechia Gdańsk, where he quickly became the main defender. In the 2007–08 season, he and his team won promotion to the Ekstraklasa. Skarżysko-Kamienna is a city in northern Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship in south-central Poland by Kamienna river, to the north of Świętokrzyskie Mountains; one of the voivodship's major cities. 2014–15 Ekstraklasa
The 2014–15 Ekstraklasa (currently named T-Mobile Ekstraklasa due to sponsorship reasons), is the 81st season of the highest level of football leagues in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 1927. It began on 18 July 2014. A total of 16 teams are participating, 14 of which competed in the league during the 2013–14 season, while the remaining two were promoted from the I Liga. Each team played a total of 30 matches, half at home and half away. Legia Warsaw were the defending champions, having won their 10th title last season, but Lech Poznań won their 7th title. The 2007–08 I liga (then known as the II liga) was the 60th season of the I liga, the second highest division in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 1949. The league was operated by the Polish Football Association (PZPN). The league contested by 18 teams who competed for promotion to the 2008–09 Ekstraklasa.
