Hubert Burton is an English actor best known for his roles as Rusbridger in Living_(2022_film), ''Living'' (2022), Wyndham Best in ''Their Finest'' (2016) and his role in the premiere production of the play The Inheritance (play), ''The Inheritance'' (2018-19). Early life and education Burton was born in London and raised in Basingstoke before attending school at Sherborne School. Burton discovered an affinity for acting at school and was accepted to RADA, The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 2011. During his training, he performed in productions of Betrayal (play), ''Betrayal'', ''Twelfth Night'' and The Sea (play), ''The Sea'', among others. He graduated from RADA with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2014. ''Living'' is a 2022 British drama film directed by Oliver Hermanus from a screenplay by Kazuo Ishiguro, adapted from the 1952 Japanese film ''Ikiru'' directed by Akira Kurosawa, which in turn was inspired by the 1886 Russian novella ''The Death of Ivan Ilyich'' by Leo Tolstoy. Set in 1953 London, it depicts a bureaucrat in the county Public Works department (played by Bill Nighy) facing a fatal illness. ''The Deep Blue Sea'' is a British stage play by Terence Rattigan from 1952. Rattigan based his story and characters in part on his secret relationship with Kenny Morgan, and the aftermath of the end of their relationship.
