Hubble Bubble is a Belgian punk band in which Plastic Bertrand started his career. Formed in 1973 by Alain Bureau and managed by Bernard Schol, the band released an eponymous album in 1977 on Barclay Records Barclay is a French record company and label founded by Eddie Barclay in 1953. Eddie Barclay was a bandleader, pianist, producer, and nightclub owner. With his wife, Nicole, who was the vocalist in his band, he started Barclay. The catalogue inc .... Plastic Bertrand is listed as a songwriter, singer and drummer under the name of Roger Junior. The group experienced difficulties following the death of bassist Daniel Massart, as result of an accident while returning from a rehearsal, and the departure of Plastic Bertrand. Roger François Jouret (born 24 February 1954), better known as Plastic Bertrand, is a Belgium, Belgian musician, songwriter, producer, editor and television presenter, best known for the 1977 international hit single "Ça plane pour moi". Biography Early life and bands Jouret was born in Brussels to a France, French father and Ukraine, Ukrainian mother. At the age of nine, he became a singer and drummer in the 'Buffalo Scouts Band', a group he formed with the Scouting in Belgium, Boy Scouts, which performed covers of The Rolling Stones, Rolling Stones songs. He then formed a band called The Pelicans, who performed at parties. They changed their name to Passing the Time, extending their act in bars, clubs and at festivals along the Dutch and Belgian coast. Later he was hired by pirate radio station Radio Veronica. Barclay is a French record company and label founded by Eddie Barclay in 1953. Eddie Barclay was a bandleader, pianist, producer, and nightclub owner. With his wife, Nicole, who was the vocalist in his band, he started Barclay. The catalogue included the work of Stéphane Grappelli, Lionel Hampton, and Rhoda Scott. In 1978, 40 % of the label was sold to Polygram. Jazz issues ceased in 1983.
