Huashan Hospital
Huashan Hospital (), formerly the Chinese Red Cross General Hospital, is a teaching hospital in Shanghai, China, affiliated with the Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University. History Huashan Hospital was founded in 1907 as the Chinese Red Cross General Hospital (). It was established by Shen Dunhe, the founder of the Red Cross Society of China, and opened for business in 1909. From 1913 to 1918, it served as a teaching hospital of Harvard University, and regularly sent its doctors and researchers to Harvard for training. Then it cooperated with the Seventh-day Adventist Church for three years. It has been a teaching hospital of then National Central University Medical College (known as ationalShanghai Medical College later) since 1928. Xuhui District
Xuhui District is a core urban district of Shanghai. It has a land area of and a population of 982,200 as of 2008. The Xuhui District is named after its namesake, the historic area of Xujiahui. Xujiahui was historically land owned by Ming dynasty bureaucrat and scientist Xu Guangqi, and later donated to the Roman Catholic Church. It and Luwan District jointly formed the core of Catholic Shanghai, centered in the former French Concession of Shanghai. Jinqiao () is a town of Pudong, Shanghai, China. It is in the middle of Pudong, with Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park on its south, Huangpu River at its north, overlooking Lujiazui Financial and Trade Center to its west.
