Bill Huard
William John Huard (born June 24, 1967) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He played in the National Hockey League between 1992 and 1999 with six teams. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1988 to 2000, was spent in different minor leagues. Career Huard had a professional career of over 600 games, including parts of seven seasons at the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Boston Bruins, Ottawa Senators, Quebec Nordiques, Dallas Stars, Edmonton Oilers and Los Angeles Kings. Huard moved to the United Kingdom in 2000 to play in the British Ice Hockey Superleague for the London Knights but left the team after playing just one game to return to Canada to be with his girlfriend who was seven months pregnant at the time. Brock Anthony Huard (born April 15, 1976) is a former American football quarterback in the National Football League (NFL). His older brother Damon also played quarterback at the University of Washington and had a career in the NFL, while his younger brother Luke played at North Carolina and pursued a coaching High school Huard graduated from Puyallup High School in Puyallup, Washington, where his father Mike was head coach. A left-hander, he enjoyed a prodigious prep career and was the Gatorade National Player of the Year, All-State and Class AAA State Player-of-the-Year in his senior season of 1994. Damon Paul Huard (born July 9, 1973) is a former American football quarterback. He is the director of community relations and fundraising for the University of Washington football program, his alma mater. Huard was signed by the Cincinnati Bengals as an undrafted free agent in 1996, and played twelve seasons in the NFL with the Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, and Kansas City Chiefs. Frances Wilson Huard (October 2, 1885 – February 1969) was an American-born writer, translator, and lecturer who wrote memoirs of life during World War I in France. Early life Frances Barrie Wilson was the daughter of comic actor Francis Wilson and his first wife, actress Mira Barrie. Career Huard is best known for her memoirs, ''My Home in the Field of Honour'' (1916), and ''My Home in the Field of Mercy'' (1917), both about living in France during World War I. Gaëtan Huard (born 12 January 1962) is a French former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Football career Born in Montargis, Loiret, Huard played 357 Ligue 1 matches for RC Lens, FC Girondins de Bordeaux and Olympique de Marseille, winning the 1989 and 1990 Division 1 championships with the latter. The Huard River is a tributary of the Ha! Ha! River, Flowing in the municipality of Ferland-et-Boilleau, in the Le Fjord-du-Saguenay Regional County Municipality, in the administrative region of Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, in the province of Quebec, in Canada.
