Huan Fraser
Huan Donald John Fraser (16 February 1940 – 18 February 2010) was an Australian politician. A Paroo Shire Councillor and former Deputy Mayor of Logan City, Fraser was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in 1986 as the National Party's member for Springwood, although he was motivated more by local concerns than by Premier Joh Bjelke-Petersen's leadership. The Legislative Assembly of Queensland is the sole chamber of the unicameral Parliament of Queensland established under the Constitution of Queensland. Elections are held every four years and are done by full preferential voting. The Assembly has 93 members, who have used the letters MP after their names since 2000 (previously they were styled MLAs). Theo Russell Cooper (born 4 February 1941) is a former Australian National Party of Australia – Queensland, National Party politician. He was Premier of Queensland for a period of 73 days, from 25 September 1989 to 7 December 1989. His loss at the state election of 1989 ended 32 years of continuous National Party rule over Queensland. Logan City
Logan City is a local government area situated within the south of the Brisbane metropolitan area in South East Queensland, Australia. Situated between the City of Brisbane to the north and the City of Gold Coast to the south, the City also borders the Scenic Rim Region, the City of Ipswich, and Redland City LGAs.
