Hristijan Todorovski Karpoš
Hristijan Todorovski - Karpoš (3 September 1921 in Kumanovo – 7 February 1944 Biljača) was a Macedonian communist partisan during the Second World War. As a student he was accepted in the communist youth organization SKOJ. Because of his progressive ideas, he was expelled from secondary school in 1940 and was not allowed to enroll in any other school in Yugoslavia. In the year of the 1941, he participated in the gathering of weapons and participated in the distribution of the illegal pamphlets and the bulletin "Dedo Ivan" which was published by the Kumanovo communist organization. He was a member of the First Kumanovo partisan detachment, and became and participated in the battle with the Bulgarian police on 11 October 1941. After that he became a member of the partisan headquarters for Kumanovo. Further he went to the Second south Moravian detachment, and late in the Kukavian detachment. Kumanovo
Kumanovo ( mk, Куманово ; also known by other #Etymology, alternative names) is a city in North Macedonia and the seat of Kumanovo Municipality, the List of municipalities in the Republic of Macedonia by population, largest municipality in the country. Pelince
Pelince ( mk, Пелинце) is a village in the municipality of Staro Nagoričane, North Macedonia. The village became popular among the citizens of the Republic of Macedonia in 2004 when a new national commemorative of ASNOM was built in the village, where the annual celebration of the Macedonian statehood (The Second Ilinden of 1944) has taken place ever since. Nash Vesnik ( Macedonian Cyrillic: ''Наш Весник'') was a local regional newspaper in the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and later the Republic of Macedonia, now known as North Macedonia. First it was a monthly newspaper. Because of a great interest, it started to be published twice a month. Vasil Iljoski
Vasil Iljoski ( mk, Васил Иљоски, (December 20, 1902 - November 1, 1995) was a Macedonian writer, dramatist, professor and an important figure in Macedonian literature, especially in Macedonian drama between the two World Wars. Biography Vasil Iljoski was born in Kruševo in 1902. He has finished his elementary education in the town of Kumanovo, where he moved in his early childhood. During that period, he has helped his father in their family business, but he did not accept it as his future profession. Iljoski finished secondary school in Kumanovo and enrolled at the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje. At the beginning of his career, he worked as a teacher in the City Gymnasium in Kumanovo. His play ''Begalka'', or known as ''Lenče Kumanovče'', performed in 1928 in the Skopje theater was staged in the Kumanovo dialect, which belongs to the Torlakian dialects.
