Hrant Alianak (born 1950), also billed as Harant Alianak or Grant Aljanak, is an Armenian-Canadian actor and playwright. Career In 1988, he was nominated for the Genie Award "Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role" for the 1987 film ''Family Viewing''. He played Pete in the 1995 Adam Sandler movie ''Billy Madison''. He portrayed Dr. Mendez in the 2009 Canadian horror film ''Pontypool''. Hrant Dink ( hy, Հրանդ Տինք; Western ; 15 September 1954 – 19 January 2007) was a Turkish-Armenian intellectual, editor-in-chief of ''Agos'', journalist and columnist. As editor-in-chief of the bilingual Turkish-Armenian newspaper ''Agos'', Dink was a prominent member of the Armenian minority in Turkey. Udi Hrant Kenkulian ( hy, Հրանդ Քենքուլեան; tr, Hrant Kenkülyan; 1901 – August 29, 1978), often referred to as Udi Hrant (lit. Hrant Ignati Matevosyan ( hy, Հրանտ Իգնատի Մաթևոսյան, 12 February 1935 - 19 December 2002) was an Armenian writer and screenwriter. By the time of his death he was considered Armenia's "most prominent and accomplished contemporary novelist". Hrant Maloyan ( hy, Հրանդ Մալոյեան; 29 November 1896 – 1978), also known as Hrant Bek, was a Syrian-Armenian military serviceman who became the general officer of the Syrian army and was appointed General Command of the Internal Security Forces in Syria.
