Andrew John Hozier-Byrne (born 17 March 1990), known professionally as Hozier ( ), is an Irish musician, singer and songwriter. His music primarily draws from folk, soul and blues, often using religious and literary themes. He had his international breakthrough after releasing his debut single "Take Me to Church", which has been certified multi-platinum in several other countries. Born and raised in County Wicklow, Hozier released his debut EP in 2013, featuring "Take Me to Church", which became a rock radio hit in the U.S. and peaked at number two on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100. ''Wasteland, Baby!'' is the second studio album by Irish musician Hozier, released on 1 March 2019 by Rubyworks Records. It is Hozier's first album since 2014. Rubyworks Records is an independent record label and music management company created in 2001 by Niall Muckian and based in Dublin, Ireland. Rubyworks owns two subsidiary labels, Gotta Run Records and Model Citizen Records. In May 2012 Rubyworks merged with UK independent record label Ark Recordings. Anúna (stylized in all caps) is a vocal ensemble formed in Ireland in 1987 by Irish composer Michael McGlynn under the name An Uaithne. Taking the current name in 1991,Allmusic Biography/ref> the group has recorded 18 albums and achieved a high level of international success, including a significant role in Riverdance from 1994 to 1996. Almost all of their repertoire is composed or arranged by McGlynn. Oxegen 2010 was the seventh Oxegen festival to take place since 2004. It took place on the weekend of Friday 9 July, Saturday, 10 July and Sunday, 11 July at Punchestown Racecourse near Naas in County Kildare, Republic of Ireland, Ireland. Eminem, Muse (band), Muse and Arcade Fire headlined. A total of around 150 acts performed over the three days. Oxegen 2010 was Arcade Fire's first Irish appearance since performing in the Phoenix Park and was their first 2010 European show to be confirmed. Drummer Jeremy Gara also admitted it was their first major show since the band's ''Neon Bible'' Neon Bible#Tour, tour and was awestruck at the idea of performing on the Main Stage directly after Jay-Z. Newcastle () is a village in County Wicklow, Ireland. It is situated on the R761 and is about south of Dublin city. Newcastle had a population of 924 at the 2016 census. The ancient barony of Newcastle, which surrounds the village, takes its name from the village and its Norman castle.
