Wolverine (birth name: James Howlett; Pseudonym, alias: Logan and Weapon X) is a Character (arts), fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, mostly in association with the X-Men. Jeffrey Howlett (1928–2005) was a Western Australian modernist architect. Howlett was born in India, but later traveled to London for his studies and then moved to Perth, Australia for training to become an architect. Throughout his life, he won various competitions with his partner Donald Bailey (architect), Donald Bailey. Howlett acknowledged the reality of late-twentieth-century cities and, through his architecture, suggested a way of making sense of the disorder. With an MFA in Painting from The Art Institute of Chicago, Howlett was one of the first designers hired into Microsoft in 1985. Robert Howlett
Robert Howlett (3 July 1831 – 2 December 1858) was a pioneering British photographer whose pictures are widely exhibited in major galleries. Howlett produced portraits of Crimean War heroes, genre scenes and landscapes. His photographs include the iconic picture of Isambard Kingdom Brunel which was part of a commission by the London-based weekly newspaper ''Illustrated Times'' to document the construction of the world's largest steamship, the SS ''Great Eastern''. He exhibited at the London Photographic Society and published ''On the Various Methods of Printing Photographic Pictures upon Paper, with Suggestions for Their Preservation.'' Michael John Gilmour Howlett (born 27 April 1950) is a record producer and teacher based in the United Kingdom and Australia. Career In the late 1960s, Howlett was the bassist in Sydney pop band the Affair, which included vocalist Kerrie Biddell. The group travelled to England after winning a prize in the Hoadley's Battle of the Sounds band competition. Howlett settled in London and in 1973 joined renowned British progressive rock group Gong, which had been founded by an Australian expatriate, Daevid Allen. He remained with Gong until 1977, recording several albums with them and co-writing much of their material later in this period with drummer Pierre Moerlen. After leaving Gong, Howlett formed the short-lived band Strontium 90, which consisted of himself, Sting, Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers. The Prodigy are an English electronic dance music band formed in Braintree, Essex, in 1990 by producer, keyboard player and songwriter Liam Howlett. The original line-up also featured dancer and singer Keith Flint and dancer and occasional live keyboard player Leeroy Thornhill, dancer Sharky and MC and vocalist Maxim. They were pioneers of the breakbeat-influenced genre big beat, and achieved mainstream popularity in the 1990s. Liam Paul Paris Howlett (born 21 August 1971) is an English record producer, musician, songwriter, co-founder and leader of the British electronic band The Prodigy, and an occasional DJ. Early years Howlett was born in Braintree, Essex, England. He was trained in classical piano (from childhood). Jane Howlett is an Australian politician, who has been a Liberal member of the Tasmanian Legislative Council for the division of Prosser since 2018. After Peter Gutwein became Premier in January 2020, Howlett was promoted to his cabinet as Minister for Sport and Recreation and Minister for Racing. After the 2021 Tasmanian state election in May 2021, she was additionally appointed Minister for Small Business and Minister for Women in the Second Gutwein Ministry.
