Howe Racing Enterprises
Howe Racing Enterprises is a manufacturer of stock car racing chassis producing oval racing chassis as well as Trans-Am Series chassis. Mark Martin had many Howe Chassis and got his first free chassis and other stuff from Ed. History Howe Racing Enterprises was founded by former racing drivers Ed Howe. His son, Chas, also a former driver, now runs the business. Both drivers competed frequently in the American Speed Association National Tour as well as other oval racing series. Ed Howe founded his chassis manufacturing company in 1971 in his hometown of Beaverton, Michigan. Ed Howe introduced the off-set chassis to the prestigious Snowball Derby in 1972. With a better weight distribution to the standard stockcars used in the southern States, Howe started the race from pole position. CRA Super Series
The CRA Super Series is a super late model stock car racing series owned and operated by the Champion Racing Association. It is a touring series based in the Midwestern United States, which competes at paved short ovals. It was formerly known as the Kendall Late Model Series and the Sunoco Super Series. The series utilizes super late model chassis race cars. Regulations on engine and body are based on the United Super Late Model Rules Alliance using an Approved Body Configuration legal body, with 358 cubic inch engines. Camaro Cup, officially the Camaro Cup 2000, is a Swedish-based stock car racing series using Chevrolet Camaro Z28s. History The idea about an American class in Swedish racing was born by the SSK acting director Robin Shorter in 1974. He spread his idea to active racers and to dealers selling American car brands.
