Howard Stidham (born December 17, 1954) is a former American football linebacker who played one season with the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League. He was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the fifteenth round of the 1976 NFL Draft. He played college football at Tennessee Technological University and attended North Hardin High School in Radcliff, Kentucky Radcliff is a home rule-class city in Hardin County, Kentucky, in the United States. Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and the defensive linemen. 1976 NFL Draft
The 1976 National Football League draft was an annual player selection meeting held April 8–9, 1976, at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York City, New York. The draft lasted 17 rounds, with the expansion Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Seattle Seahawks making the first two selections. The Buccaneers were awarded the first overall pick of the draft after winning a draw over the Seahawks, and used that pick to select defensive tackle Lee Roy Selmon. The expansion teams were also given a pair of extra picks at the end of each of rounds 2-5. Radcliff, Kentucky
Radcliff is a home rule-class city in Hardin County, Kentucky, in the United States. The population was 21,692 at the 2010 census, and in 2019 the estimated population was 22,914. It is included in the Elizabethtown–Fort Knox Metropolitan Area. Its economy is largely dominated by the adjacent U.S. Army base Fort Knox and by the nearby city of Elizabethtown.
