How, When And With Whom
''Come, quando, perché'', internationally released as ''How, When and with Whom'', is a 1969 Italian romance film written and directed by Antonio Pietrangeli. It is the last film of Pietrangeli, who died drowning in the sea of Gaeta, while he was testing some shots for the next day; he was eventually replaced by Valerio Zurlini. Plot Paola, wife of a wealthy Turinese industrialist, meets Alberto, a friend of her husband, who emigrated to Argentina and has returned for business reasons. After a few days, Alberto confesses his love to Paola, but she resists. However, during a vacation in Sardinia, having waited in vain for the arrival of her husband, she gives in to Alberto's wishes. They continue their relationship back in Turin, but she chooses not to follow him to Argentina. Antonio Pietrangeli
Antonio Pietrangeli (19 January 191912 July 1968) was an Italian film director and screenwriter. He was a major practitioner of the Commedia all'italiana genre. Biography Pietrangeli was born in Rome. He started in the film industry by writing movie reviews for Italian cinema magazines such as ''Bianco e Nero'' and ''Cinema''. As a screenwriter, his works include ''Ossessione'' and '' La terra trema'' directed by Luchino Visconti, '' Fabiola'' directed by Alessandro Blasetti, and ''Europa '51'' directed by Roberto Rossellini. Pietrangeli's own directing debut was '' Il sole negli occhi'', a 1953 film starring Gabriele Ferzetti. This was followed by the Alberto Sordi comedies '' Lo scapolo'' (1956) and '' Souvenir d'Italie'' (1957). Liana Orfei (born 6 June 1937) is an Italian actress and circus artist. She appeared in more than 30 films between 1959 and 1971. Life and career Born in San Giovanni in Persiceto, Bologna, daughter and niece of famous circus artists, since her childhood Orfei started her engagement in activities typical of the sector such as being a clown, a horsewoman and even a tamer of wild beasts. Her film career began in the late 1950s, when she played some secondary roles in several films of adventure and peplum genre and in some comedies. Danielle Gaubert (9 August 1943 – 4 November 1987) was a French actress. Born in Nuars, Danielle Gaubert was discovered at 16 years old by Claude Autant-Lara, who chose her for the film ''Les régates de San Francisco'', and soon after appeared in a number of German and Italian productions, including '' Flight from Ashiya'' (1964), ' (1968), ''Camille 2000'' (1969) and ''Underground'' (1970). In 1963 she married Radhamés Trujillo Martínez, a son of the Dominican dictator Rafael Trujillo, but they divorced in 1968. Armando Trovajoli (also Trovaioli, 2 September 1917 – 28 February 2013) was an Italian film composer and pianist with over 300 credits as composer and/or conductor, many of them jazz scores for exploitation films of the Commedia all'italiana genre. He collaborated with Vittorio De Sica on a number of projects, including one segment of ''Boccaccio '70''. Trovajoli was also the author of several Italian musicals: among them, ''Rugantino'' and ''Aggiungi un posto a tavola''. Trovajoli was the husband of actress Pier Angeli. He died in Rome at the age of 95 on 28 February 2013.
