Hove RFC
Hove Rugby Club is an English community rugby union club, who play at Hove Recreation Ground in Shirley Drive Hove, and are affiliated to the English RFU via the Sussex RFU. They currently play in London 2 South East - a league a level 7 of the English rugby union system - following their relegation from London 1 South at the end of the 2018–19 season. History Beginnings Territorial Army officers and men of the Sussex Yeomanry formed a rugby club, which was affiliated to the Rugby Football Union in 1933. Records of their results have been lost in the mist of time but, post war in 1945 the players reformed and continued to turn out on Saturdays, the home matches being played at East Brighton Park. London 2 South East
London 2 South East is an English level 7 Rugby Union League. When this division began in 1987 it was known as London 3 South East, changing to its current name ahead of the 2009–10 season. The division is made up of teams predominantly from south-east London, Kent, East Sussex and West Sussex. The twelve teams play home and away matches from September through to April. Each year all clubs in the division also take part in the RFU Intermediate Cup - a level 7 national competition. Promoted teams move up to London 1 South with the league champions being promoted automatically and the runners up playing the runners up from London 2 South West, while demoted teams tend to move down to London 3 South East. Wasps Rugby Football Club is a professional rugby union team. They last played in Premiership Rugby, the top division of English rugby until being suspended on 12 October 2022. On 17 October 2022 the club entered administration, resulting in relegation to the RFU Championship, and all staff being made redundant. They exited administration on 16 December 2022. Founded in 1867 as Wasps FC, Wasps Football Club, from 1923 to 1996 they were based at Repton Avenue in Sudbury, London. From 1996 to 2002 the team played at Loftus Road in Shepherd's Bush and from 2002 to 2014 they played at Adams Park in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. Noah Cato (born 31 March 1988) is an English rugby union player who plays as a wing and fullback for Wimbledon RFC in the National League 2 South. He was educated at St. Aubyns School, Rottingdean, Hurstpierpoint College and at the University of Hertfordshire. Club career Cato made his full debut for Saracens against Leeds Carnegie during the 2007–08 season. He signed a new contract in January 2010. On 5 April 2011 it was announced that Cato would be joining Northampton Saints for the 2011–12 season. Before he departed he was a replacement as Saracens won their first Premiership title. Jordan Turner-Hall
Jordan Turner-Hall (born 5 January 1988 in London, England) is a former rugby union player for Harlequins in the Aviva Premiership, playing primarily as a centre but he could also play on the wing. His first start for England came on 30 May 2009 against the Barbarians. He spent his younger days playing American football with the likes of Nick Ashburn and Charlie Canrac, who both went on to play professionally for the Miami Dolphins. Caerphilly Rugby Football Club is a Welsh rugby union team founded in 1887. Their home ground is Virginia Park in Caerphilly and their nickname is ''The Cheesemen''. Joe El-Abd
Joe El-Abd (born 23 February 1980) is a rugby union player. He is currently the head coach for Oyonnax in the French Top 14. El-Abd began playing rugby at Hove RFC and at the University of Bath, and after an unsuccessful spell with Bath Rugby, he joined Caerphilly RFC and later Bristol Rugby in 2003, where he has spent the best part of his career and become a regular fixture at open-side flanker. As of 2008 he has made over 100 appearances for Bristol and captained the side on several occasions, being named the club's regular captain at the start of the 2008/09 season.
