Housing And Finance Institute
The Housing and Finance Institute (HFI) is an industry group whose stated aim is "to boost the capacity and delivery of housing". The institute is privately funded and works with the private and public sector to build more homes in the United Kingdom. It was set up by the Cameron–Clegg coalition following a review by Natalie Elphicke and Keith House. The HFI drew support from Local Partnerships, Pinnacle Group, Keepmoat, Plus Dane and Trowers & Hamlins. Funding HFI is funded by the City of London Corporation who agreed to fund the HFI by £40,000 per annum for 2015/16, 2016/17 and 2017/18. Other Founding members are Local Partnerships, Pinnacle Group and Keepmoat. Non-founding members Laing O’Rourke and Home Group. Cameron–Clegg Coalition
The Cameron–Clegg coalition was formed by David Cameron and Nick Clegg when Cameron was invited by Queen Elizabeth II to form a new administration, following the resignation of Prime Minister Gordon Brown on 11 May 2010, after the general election on 6 May. It was the UK's first coalition government since the Churchill caretaker ministry in 1945. The coalition was led by Cameron as Prime Minister with Clegg as Deputy Prime Minister and composed of members of both Cameron's centre-right Conservative Party and Clegg's centrist Liberal Democrats. Natalie Elphicke
Natalie Cecilia Elphicke (née Ross; born 5 November 1970) is a British Conservative Party politician and finance lawyer. At the 2019 general election, she was elected as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Dover, succeeding her husband Charlie Elphicke. Prior to the her parliamentary career, Elphicke specialised in housing finance and conservative policy development. She was the author of the 2010 report ''Housing People; Financing Housing'' for the conservative think-tank Policy Exchange. She led the Conservative Policy Forum when it was launched in 2011. She is a director of the privately funded Housing and Finance Institute set up by the Cameron–Clegg coalition, following a review she wrote with Keith House. Local Partnerships LLP is joint venture owned by HM Treasury, the Local Government Association and Welsh Government established 2009. It serves as a Public-private partnership unit in England and Wales. Pinnacle Group
A pinnacle is an architectural element originally forming the cap or crown of a buttress or small turret, but afterwards used on parapets at the corners of towers and in many other situations. The pinnacle looks like a small spire. It was mainly used in Gothic architecture. The pinnacle had two purposes: # Ornamental – adding to the loftiness and verticity of the structure. Keepmoat Homes Ltd is a housebuilding company in the United Kingdom that provides private homes for sale. Its headquarters are in Doncaster. History The company was founded in Rotherham by George Bramall and Dick Ogden as Bramall & Ogden in 1931.
