House Of Representatives (Antigua And Barbuda)
The House of Representatives of Antigua and Barbuda is the lower chamber of the country's bicameral parliament. The current House of Representatives has a total of 19 members. 17 members are directly elected to five-year terms from single member constituencies using the first-past-the-post system. There is one ''ex officio'' member (the Attorney-general) and the remaining seat is held by the Speaker. An ''ex officio'' member is a member of a body (notably a board, committee, council) who is part of it by virtue of holding another office. Trevor Myke Walker is a Barbudan politician and former Cabinet Minister under the Baldwin Spencer administration. Early life Walker was educated at the Holy Trinity School in Barbuda, that was destroyed in the 2017 Hurricane Irma, but reopened in 2019.
