House Of Angels
''House of Angels'' ( sv, Änglagård) is a Swedish drama film which was released to cinemas in Sweden on 21 February 1992, about a little village in Västergötland, Sweden, where an aging recluse lives in a mansion on a large wooded property. One day he is accidentally killed and an unknown relative by the name of Fanny Zander inherits the mansion and land. When she and her friend Zac arrive, they turn life in the staid village upside down. The film was screened out of competition at the 1992 Cannes Film Festival. At the 28th Guldbagge Awards the film won the awards for Best Film and Best Director. It was also nominated for Best Actress (Helena Bergström), Best Screenplay and Best Cinematography (Jens Fischer). Colin Nutley
Colin James Nutley (born 28 February 1944) is an English director successful in the Swedish film industry. Career Nutley went to Portsmouth Art College and began his career in British television as a graphic designer. He then turned to drama and documentary film-making for ITV, BBC and Channel 4. He directed the first two episodes of children's television series ''Press Gang'', but was unhappy with the final edit so asked for his name to be removed from the credit He was, however, the driving force behind Southern Television's ITV-networked children's series The Flockton Flyer, taking personal responsibility for much of the casting, and acting as producer of the first series (filmed 1976, broadcast 1977) and producer/director of the second series (filmed 1977, broadcast 1978). The Guldbagge for Best Director is a Swedish film award presented annually by the Swedish Film Institute (SFI) as part of the Guldbagge Awards (Swedish: "Guldbaggen") to directors working in the Swedish motion picture industry. Carl-Einar Häckner, also ''Charlie Häckner'', (born 8 October 1969) is a Swedish illusionist, actor and comedian. Early life Häckner was born in Nol, Ale Municipality and raised in Gårdsten, Angered, a suburb of Gothenburg. He fell in love with magic during his early childhood years after he received a magic set. At the age of eleven he held his first public performance. He met up with Max Milton, who became his mentor and influenced his artistic direction. While Häckner was still in upper secondary school he studied economics and when he finished, started a career as an illusionist under the name ''Wic Mack''. Änglagård is a Swedish progressive rock band, with influences including King Crimson, Genesis, Gentle Giant, Trettioåriga Kriget, Schicke Führs Fröhling, and Van der Graaf Generator.
