Hothead (Courage The Cowardly Dog)
''Courage the Cowardly Dog'' is an American animated television series created and directed by John R. Dilworth. The pilot episode, "The Chicken from Outer Space", originally aired as part of ''What a Cartoon!'' on February 18, 1996. The series officially premiered on Cartoon Network on November 12, 1999, and ended on November 22, 2002, with a total of 52 episodes over the course of four seasons. A CGI special titled "The Fog of Courage" was broadcast on Cartoon Network in Southeast Asia on October 31, 2014. The series is about an anthropomorphic dog named Courage, who lives with an elderly couple in Nowhere, Kansas. In each episode, the trio are thrown into bizarre and frequently disturbing misadventures, often involving the paranormal or supernatural. Hothead Games Inc. is an independent Canadian video game developer based in Vancouver. History The studio was founded in 2006 by Steve Bocska, Vlad Ceraldi and Joel DeYoung, all three of which were formerly employed by Radical Entertainment. However, Bocska left the company in 2007. On 10 March 2009, Ian Wilkinson, who had been president and chief executive officer of Radical Entertainment since its foundation in 1991 until 2008, became president and chief executive officer of Hothead Games, replacing Ceraldi. In turn, Ceraldi became the studio's director of game development, while DeYoung moved from his chief operating officer position to director of game technology. ''Hothead Paisan: Homicidal Lesbian Terrorist'' is an alternative comic written and drawn by Diane DiMassa published 1991–1998. It features the title character generally wreaking violent vengeance on male oppressors. Recurring characters include Hothead's cat Chicken, her wise mystical friend Roz, a talking lamp, and her lover Daphne. Publication The series began in 1991, published under the imprint Giant Ass Publishing, run by DiMassa's partner.
