Hotel St. Pauli
''Hotel St. Pauli'' is a 1988 Norwegian drama film by Svend Wam, based upon the novel ''Jord!'' by Erland Kiøsterud. The movie is set in Copenhagen, Hamburg and the roads in between. It is about sex and violence in the Hamburg red light district of St. Pauli. Plot Jor tries to make a living as an artist. For the time being, he and his girlfriend Gerda have to live off her income as a prostitute. When the young Morgan comes into their life, the relationship between the three becomes difficult, with Gerda and Morgan eventually fleeing. Svend Olaf Wamnes Akstuft, known as Svend Wam (5 May 1946 – 7 May 2017), was a Norwegian film director. Wam was born in Son, Norway. He was best known for his collaborations with Petter Vennerød, creating fourteen films under the moniker ''Wam og Vennerød''. Wam died in Vestby after a lengthy illness, aged 71. Linn Stokke
Linn Sem Stokke (born 18 September 1961) is a Norwegian actress, author, singer and composer. She is the daughter of Ingebjørg Sem and Tor Stokke, both actors. She had her début at the National Theatre as a child, in 1975, and has since acted in over 25 productions there. Stokke became known to a national audience at a young age, in the role of the daughter in the sitcom '' Hjemme hos oss'' in 1980. Petter Nome (born 18 July 1954) is a Norwegian television personality, journalist and organizational worker. He was born in Kristiansand, but grew up at Kampen and Ila. He did his secondary education at Oslo Cathedral School, worked odd jobs at land and sea and studied criminology at the University of Oslo. In 1978 he was hired as a journalist in ''Arbeiderbladet''. He later co-founded the local radio station Radio Oslo. He started working for the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation in 1984.
