Hotel Bristol, Belgrade
Hotel Bristol ( sr, Хотел Бристол) is one of the oldest hotels in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. Built in 1912, it is an anthological exemplar of the modern architecture in Belgrade and represents the pinnacle of the Secession architecture in the city. The building was declared a cultural monument in 1987. Location The hotel is located in the neighborhood of Savamala, in the municipality of Savski Venac. Nikola Nestorović
Nikola Nestorovic ( sr-cyr, Никола Несторовић, April 15, 1868 Požarevac - February 18, 1957, Belgrade) was a Serbian architect and professor at the Technical Faculty. After finishing grade school, he moved to Belgrade, where he enrolled in the Technical College of the Great School. He graduated in 1890, and was employed as a subcontractor at the Ministry of Construction. He was sent back to work in Požarevac. Louis XVI style, also called ''Louis Seize'', is a style of architecture, furniture, decoration and art which developed in France during the 19-year reign of Louis XVI (1774–1793), just before the French Revolution.
