Hot Summer (album)
''Hot Summer'' was a Cantopop album by Leslie Cheung released in 1988 by Hong Kong record company Cinepoly and followed on the heels of the success of Cheung's '' Summer Romance'' the year before. Like ''Summer Romance'', the album also featured a collaboration with Japanese musicians. Its songs were considerably popular and these included "Hot Summer", 貼身 ("Close Proximity"), 無需要太多 ("Don't Need Too Much"), 沉默是金 ("Silence is Golden"), 繼續跳舞 ("Keep on Dancing"), and 内心爭鬥 ("Inner Struggle"). The song "Close Proximity" won the Jade Solid Gold Award in 1988 and was among the popular songs in Hong Kong for that year. Track 10 ("Love Again") is a Cantonese cover of Glenn Frey's 1982 song " The One You Love" from album '' No Fun Aloud''. Leslie Cheung
Leslie Cheung Kwok-wing (12 September 1956 – 1 April 2003) was a Hong Kong singer and actor. Throughout a 26-year career from 1977 until his death, Cheung released over 40 music albums and acted in 56 films. He was one of the most prominent pioneers that shaped the identity of Cantopop during the 1980s and became known for his flamboyant, often outrageous stage appearance. Glenn Frey
Glenn Lewis Frey (; November 6, 1948 – January 18, 2016) was an American singer, guitarist and a founding member of the rock band Eagles. Frey was the co-lead singer and frontman for the Eagles, roles he came to share with fellow member Don Henley, with whom he wrote most of the Eagles' material. The saxophone (often referred to colloquially as the sax) is a type of single-reed woodwind instrument with a conical body, usually made of brass. The One You Love (Glenn Frey Song)
"The One You Love" is a song by American musician and singer-songwriter Glenn Frey, most famous as singer and guitarist for the Eagles. It was released as the lead single from his debut solo album ''No Fun Aloud'', in 1982. Ernie Watts and Jim Horn are featured on the tenor saxophone. Watts plays the repeating theme, while Horn plays the closing solo. The single features the track, "All Those Lies", as the B-side, which is also included in the album. The song was also one of three of Frey's solo hits performed during the Eagles' 1994-1996 Hell Freezes Over tour, the others being "You Belong to the City" and " The Heat is On", wherein bassist Timothy B.
