James Ashley Hoskin (born 27 March 1968) is an English former professional footballer who played as a winger. Hoskin scored in the 1987–88 Football League Trophy Northern Area final second leg against Preston North End but was not played in the final against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Wembley Stadium. Chuck Hoskin is a Cherokee-American politician and former member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives from the 6th district, which includes parts of Craig, Mayes, and Rogers counties. He served as a whip for the Democratic caucus. He is a citizen of the Cherokee Nation, and he served from 1995 to 2007 as a member of the Tribal Council, and in 2011 became Chief of Staff for the Principal Chief, Baker. David Craig Hoskin (born 16 October 1935) is a former New Zealand cricketer who played first-class cricket for Northern Districts men's cricket team, Northern Districts from 1956 to 1965. He was President of New Zealand Cricket from 2000 to 2003. Playing career A right-arm medium-fast bowler, Hoskin was the first person to bowl for Northern Districts in first-class cricket. John Hoskin (1921–1990) was a British sculptor from Cheltenham. He began drawing when he returned from Germany after serving in the Second World War. Terry Frost, a painter from the St. Ives school encouraged him to become a sculptor. John while working as an architect's draftsman but longing to become an artist, knew of the group working in St.Ives and decided to hitch-hike there one day. By a remarkable co-incidence, he was picked up and given a lift by Terry. By the time they arrived, John knew being a sculptor was his destiny. Richard Neville Hoskin (born 18 October 1959) is a former first-class cricketer who played for Otago from 1980 to 1993. Since his retirement from the game he has worked as a sports administrator and businessman. Playing career A right-handed batsman who usually batted at number three or four, Hoskin, who was born at Invercargill in 1959, played his first match for Southland in the sub-first-class Hawke Cup in 1977–78. At the age of 19 he was appointed to captain the team in 1978–79. He made his first-class debut for Otago in 1980–81, and remained a fixture in the side until his retirement after the 1992–93 season.
