Hosa Jeevana
''Hosa Jeevana'' () is a 1990 Indian Kannada film, directed by H. R. Bhargava and produced by S. Shailendra Babu. The film stars Shankar Nag, Deepika Chikhalia, Deepika, Ramesh Bhat and Sudheer (Kannada actor), Sudheer. The film has a musical score composed by Hamsalekha. The film was a remake of 1989 Tamil film ''Pudhea Paadhai''. Plot synopsis A ruthless ruffian sexually assaults an innocent woman, which traumatizes her. However, due to that rape victim, he gets reformed into a better human being. Shankar Nag
Shankar Nagarakatte (9 November 1954 – 30 September 1990) was an Indian actor, screenwriter, director, and producer known for his work in Kannada-language films and television. A popular cultural icon of Karnataka, Nag is often referred to as ''Karate King.'' He directed and acted in the teleserial, '' Malgudi Days'', based on novelist R. K. Narayan's short stories. Nag received the inaugural IFFI Best Actor Award (Male): Silver Peacock Award" at the 7th International Film Festival of India for his work in the film ''Ondanondu Kaladalli''. Chandrika Gururaj (born 4 October 1959), is an Indian playback singer, known for her works in Kannada. Apart from film songs, she has also recorded numerous devotional, bhaavageethe and folk songs. For her song "O Priyatama" in the movie ''Urvashi'', Chandrika won the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer in 1994.
