An acoustic horn or waveguide is a tapered sound guide designed to provide an acoustic impedance match between a sound source and free air. This has the effect of maximizing the efficiency with which sound waves from the particular source are transferred to the air. Conversely, a horn can be used at the receiving end to optimize the transfer of sound from the air to a receiver. Acoustic horns are found in nature in the form of the burrows constructed by male mole crickets to amplify their song. Randsfjorden is Norway's fourth-largest lake with an area of . Its volume is estimated at just over , and its greatest depth is . The lake is located at an elevation of above sea level. It is located in Innlandet and Viken counties in the municipalities of Gran, Jevnaker, Nordre Land, and Søndre Land in the districts of Land and Hadeland. It is drained by the Randselva river. In ''Heimskringla'', Snorri Sturluson recorded that Halfdan the Black (''Halvdan Svarte''), father of Harald Hårfagre, the first King of Norway, journeyed over the lake while returning home from a visit to Hadeland. ''Love Kraft'' is the seventh studio album by Welsh indie rock band Super Furry Animals, released on 22 August 2005 through Epic Records in the United Kingdom. The album was recorded in Spain with producer Mario Caldato Jr and was something of a departure for the band, with all members contributing songs and lead vocals alongside Gruff Rhys who had been main songwriter for the Super Furries until this point. The album's name was taken from a sex shop, Love Craft, near the Cardiff offices of the Super Furries' management team and is also a nod to American horror writer H. P. Lovecraft. Pharaoh Overlord is an experimental rock music band, initially featuring three members of the Finnish group Circle, Jussi Lehtisalo, Janne Westerlund and Tomi Leppänen. Originally begun as a vehicle to indulge their love of stoner rock, Pharaoh Overlord's output has become more varied, mirroring the development of their sister group. Their 2007 album ''Live In Suomi Finland'' features contributions from krautrock pioneer Hans Joachim Irmler. Julius Jääskeläinen and Pekka Jääskeläinen also appear on that recording, and have played regularly with the band since both in performance and in the studio. Since the 2019 release ''5'', the band has been a duo consisting of Lehtisalo and Leppänen. The 2020 album ''6'' also features vocals by Aaron Turner. The Horn (New Hampshire)
The Horn is a mountain located in Coos County, New Hampshire. The mountain is part of the Pilot Range of the White Mountains. The Horn is flanked to the southwest by the Bulge. The Horn stands within the watershed of the Upper Ammonoosuc River, which drains into the Connecticut River, and thence into Long Island Sound in Connecticut. The south face of the Horn drains into the headwaters of the West Branch of the Upper Ammonoosuc River. The northwest face of the Horn drains north, thence into the West Branch of Mill Brook, and into the Upper Ammonoosuc. Unknown Pond lies to the northeast of the mountain and provides an excellent view of the peak. The open ledges on the summit face west, however, so it is difficult to see the pond from the top of the mountain. Because of The Horn's location in the northern White Mountains and its distance——from the nearest road, it is much less visited than other comparable summits in the White Mountains. The Horn is the most prominent peak on the Mount Buffalo plateau in Victoria, Australia. The Horn has an elevation of AHD. Found on the west side of the Victorian Alps (part of the Australian Alps and the Great Dividing Range), the top of the mountain has granite boulders and rock formations. A walking track leads to the top of The Horn.
