Hoptivka
Hoptivka ( uk, Гоптівка, russian: Гоптовка) is a selo in Kharkiv Raion, Kharkiv Oblast, Ukraine and a northeastern border crossing with Russia. It belongs to Derhachi urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. The M2 highway is the primary border crossing, which meets the M20 in Ukraine. Until 18 July 2020, Hoptivka belonged to Derhachi Raion. The raion was abolished in July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Kharkiv Oblast to seven. The area of Derhachi Raion was merged into Kharkiv Raion. 2024 Kharkiv Offensive

M2 Highway (Russia)
The Russian route M2 (also known as the ''Crimea Highway'', ()) is a major trunk road that connects Moscow to Crimea. It is part of the European route E105. It is 720 kilometers long. Inaugurated in 1950, the highway starts at the junction of the Moscow Ring Road and Varshavskoye Shosse and travels south-west, immediately bypassing the cities of Tula, Oryol, Kursk and Belgorod before terminating at the border with Ukraine.
