Hidayat Orujov
Hidayat Khudush oglu Orujov ( az, Hidayət Orucov Xuduş oğlu; born September 5, 1944) is an Azerbaijani writer and politician. He became the Chairman of State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations of Azerbaijan Republic in 2006 and is currently serving as the Azerbaijani ambassador to Kyrgyzstan. Early life Orujov was born on September 5, 1944 in Maralzami village of Syunik Region, Armenian SSR. He graduated from Philology department of Azerbaijan State University. Manaf Suleymanov
Manaf Faraj oglu Suleymanov ( az, Manaf Fərəc oğlu Süleymanov; 3 March 1912, Lahich – 12 September 2001, Baku) was an Azerbaijani writer, translator and historian. Life Manaf Suleymanov was born in 1912, in the village of Lahich in Azerbaijan. He graduated from the Azerbaijan Oil and Chemistry Institute with honours and worked in the Azerbaijan Institute of Industry as an assistant professor. In 1942 he completed his PhD in Geology (kandudat geologo-mineralogicheskikh nauk). Mr. Suleymanov then lectured at several Azerbaijani universities. Natig Rasulzadeh (also spelled Natik via Russian; az, Natiq Rəsulzadə) is a contemporary Azerbaijani writer. He was born in Baku on June 5, 1949. At age 17, he was already publishing in “Youth of Azerbaijan” newspaper. After finishing high school, Rasulzadeh entered the Baku ''Polytechnic Institute'' (now Azerbaijan Technical University). However, four years later, he quit his studies and transferred to the Maxim Gorky Literature Institute in Moscow, Russia. Vidadi Aydin oglu Muradov (5 March 1956 – 5 November 2021) was an Azerbaijani carpet specialist and academic. Life Vidadi Muradov was born on 5 March 1956 in Barda city of the republic of Azerbaijan. Rauf Adigozalov
Rauf Zulfugar oglu Adigozalov ( az, Rauf Zülfüqar oğlu Adıgözəlov; 22 November 1940 – 29 June 2002) was an Azerbaijani violinist and singer. He was the son of the singer Zulfugar Adigozalov, and the brother of the composer Vasif Adigozalov. He graduated from Moscow Conservatory (1965), and after graduation returned to Azerbaijan. The Heydar Aliyev Prize was created by the Decree #38 of the President of Azerbaijan, on March 10, 2004. The head of state approved the regulation of Prize on September 20, 2007. General provisions It is stated in the regulation which consists of 25 articles, the Heydar Aliyev Prize is given to those who have special services in public-political, social, economic, scientific and cultural spheres, special services in civil service, who actively participate in social life, in the development of friendship and mutual cooperation of country in international relations. According to the regulation, the Heydar Aliyev Prize should be given every year on May 10 - on the birthday of Heydar Aliyev.
