Honor Among Thieves (The Brandos Album)
''Honor Among Thieves'' is the debut album by the American band the Brandos, released in 1987. The first single was "Gettysburg", which was a minor hit on radio and MTV. The album peaked at No. 108 on the ''Billboard'' 200. The band supported the album with a North American tour that included stints opening for INXS, the Georgia Satellites, and the Cars. ''Honor Among Thieves'' won a New York Music Award for the best independent debut of 1987. Production Most of the album's songs were written by singer Dave Kincaid, who also produced. He strove to make the songs sound similar to each other. Kincaid's slide guitar playing was influenced by his love of the Allman Brothers Band's ''At Fillmore East''. ''Honor Among Thieves'' was mixed at Power Station, in New York. "Strychnine" and "Walking on the Water" are covers of songs by, respectively, the Sonics and Creedence Clearwater Revival. "A Matter of Survival" is about domestic abuse. "Nothing to Lose" describes the possibility of ...

Antiseen
Antiseen (often stylized as ANTiSEEN) is an American punk rock band formed in Charlotte, North Carolina, by Jeff Clayton and Joe Young in 1983. The name "Antiseen" serves as a deliberate deviation of the phrase "anti-scene" - the group not wishing to adhere to standard perceptions of punk rock in specific and rock music in general. Musically, Antiseen is influenced by groups such as the Ramones and Stooges, employing short, heavily distorted power chord-driven songs largely free of guitar solos or advanced musicianship. The band has a catalogue of over 100 LPs, EPs, CDs and DVDs recorded with various line-ups and have performed all over the world. The band members consist of vocalist Jeff Clayton, bassist/drummer Sir Barry Hannibal, guitarist Mad Brother Ward, and bassist Malcolm Tent. Antiseen remains a performing and touring band. History and side projects After several years playing regularly throughout the East Coast and southern United States, Antiseen embarked on their f ...

AD&D 1st Edition
Several different editions of the ''Dungeons & Dragons'' (''D&D'') fantasy role-playing game have been produced since 1974. The current publisher of ''D&D'', Wizards of the Coast, produces new materials only for the most current edition of the game. However, many ''D&D'' fans continue to play older versions of the game and some third-party companies continue to publish materials compatible with these older editions. After the original edition of ''D&D'' was introduced in 1974, the game was split into two branches in 1977: the rules-light system of ''Dungeons & Dragons'' and the more complex, rules-heavy system of ''Advanced Dungeons & Dragons'' (''AD&D''). The standard game was eventually expanded into a series of five box sets by the mid-1980s before being compiled and slightly revised in 1991 as the ''Dungeons & Dragons Rules Cyclopedia''. Meanwhile, the 2nd edition of ''AD&D'' was published in 1989. In 2000 the two-branch split was ended when a new version was designated the 3r ...
