Lasse Stefanz
Lasse Stefanz is a Swedish dansband formed in Kristianstad in 1967. The band was popular during the 1980s. The band was formed by Hans Sigfridsson, Lars Sigfridsson and Olle Jönsson. Later members are Christer Ericsson, Anders Pettersson and Gunnar Nilsson. Olle Jönsson is the singer, as well as the ex-drummer. ''Lasse Stefanz'' had hits with songs as "Oh, Julie" (1982) and released albums as ''Peppelinos Bar'' (1988). 1989-1990, Lasse Stefanz and Christina Lindberg had a Svensktoppen hit with the song " De sista ljuva åren". In 1989, Lasse Stefanz was awarded a Grammis for "Dansband of the year". The band participated in Melodifestivalen 2011 with the song "En blick och något händer." "Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh (A Letter from Camp)" is a novelty song recorded by Allan Sherman. The melody is taken from the ballet ''Dance of the Hours'' from the Opera "La Gioconda" by Amilcare Ponchielli, while the lyrics were written by Allan Sherman and Lou Busch. Allan based the lyrics on letters of complaint which he received from his son Robert who was attending Camp Champlain, a summer camp in Westport, New York. "My Toot Toot" also popularly known as "Don't Mess with My Toot Toot" or "(Don't Mess with) My Toot Toot" is a song written by Sidney Simien and performed by him under his stage name Rockin' Sidney. Simien wrote the song and released it on the Maison de Soul Records label in Ville Platte, Louisiana. In October 1984, he included the tune on his third album, ''My Zydeco Shoes Got the Zydeco Blues'', recording the entire album at his home studio in Lake Charles and playing all the instruments himself.
