The Sports Federation and Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (Traditional Chinese: 中國香港體育協會暨奧林匹克委員會; in short SF&OC, 港協暨奧委會) is the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Hong Kong. Eva Sládeková (born December 17, 1981, in Trenčín) is a Slovak badminton player. The individual show jumping at the 2008 Summer Olympics took place between 15 and 21 August, at the Hong Kong Sports Institute. Like all other equestrian events, the jumping competition was mixed gender, with both male and female athletes competing in the same division. There were 77 competitors from 29 nations. The event was won by Eric Lamaze of Canada, the nation's first victory in individual jumping and first medal of any color in the event since 1976. Silver went to Rolf-Göran Bengtsson of Sweden, that nation's first medal in individual jumping since 1932. Jennifer Snow Lee (born 15 August 1965) is a Hong Kong equestrian. Personal life Lee is a native of Virginia in the United States. She is married to Sam Lee Kwok-Tung, a Hong Kong Chinese man, with whom she has two children, and moved to Hong Kong with him in 1994. Equestrian career Lee began representing Hong Kong in equestrian competition at the international level soon after her arrival. She won medals in every competition in which she participated since 2001, held Hong Kong's high jump record, and was ranked 11th in the world in the International Federation for Equestrian Sports' World Jumping Challenge. Cycling At The 2008 Summer Olympics – Men's Cross-country
The men's cross-country mountain biking at the 2008 Summer Olympics took place at the Laoshan Mountain Bike Course on August 23, 2008. France's Julien Absalon pulled away from a pack of mountain bikers at the start to defend his Olympic title in the event with a gold-medal time in 1:55:59. Absalon also enjoyed his teammate Jean-Christophe Péraud taking home the silver in 1:57:06, as the Frenchmen climbed on top of the podium with a spectacular 1–2 finish. Meanwhile, Switzerland's Nino Schurter delivered an exciting sprint challenge for the bronze in 1:57:52, edging out his teammate, three-time Olympian and reigning world champion Christoph Sauser by two seconds. Chan Chun Hing
Chun Hing Chan (; born 24 April 1981) is a Hong Kong former professional racing cyclist. He specialised in cross-country mountain biking although he also participated in road races. Early years Chan was born on 24 April 1981 in British Hong Kong. He grew up in Fanling with his parents and five older siblings. Chan went to Kei San Secondary School, where he took up downhill mountain biking at Form 2. After graduating from the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, Chan trained part-time as a road cyclist and took up a job in the telecom industry for two years. Jamie Wong
Jamie Wong Wan-Yiu (; born 4 November 1986) is a Hong Kong cyclist. She was second in the Asian Cycling Championships in 2007 in Thailand. A year later she won the points race at the 2007–08 Track Cycling World Cup in Copenhagen. 2010 Asian Games At the 2010 Asian Games, she won the silver medal in the points race in the cycling competition in dramatic fashion, after taking a fall early in the race and fracturing a rib. Wong had to be helped up to the podium to collect her medal and sobbed uncontrollably as she shakily stood for the national anthem, clutching her arm and her knees clearly badly bruised and grazed. The men's points race at the 2008 Summer Olympics took place on August 16 at the Laoshan Velodrome. There were 23 competitors from 23 nations. The event was won by Joan Llaneras of Spain, his second victory in the points race (after 2000) and third consecutive medal in the event (with a silver in 2004). Llaneras was the only person, of any gender, to win multiple medals in the points race, which is no longer on the Olympic programme. Wu Kin San (; born May 4, 1985, in Hong Kong) is a Hong Kong professional road cyclist, who last rode for the team. Professional career Wu began cycling at the age of twelve, and having shown his great talent and passion for sport, turned pro just 8 years later. In 2005, he claimed numerous titles road race at the Tour of South China Sea in Macau and Hong Kong, while playing for Purapharm Cycling Team. A year later, Wu signed a contract with to undergo a training in Milan, Italy. Following his return to Hong Kong, Wu supposedly started his first race for the Tour of Qinghai Lake, but decided to withdraw from the tour.
