Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel is the second Disney hotel in the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort in Penny's Bay, Lantau Island, Hong Kong. The theme of the hotel is of a Victorian style, and is located near Disneyland Harbour. The hotel is built on reclaimed land and opened on 12 September 2005. The hotel has 400 guestrooms and a convention centre with ballrooms and function rooms. The Convention Centre offers three ballrooms. It is in Islands District. Culture "Micktorian" architecture style, a blend of "Mickey" with "Victorian", was adopted by the hotel. For example, " hidden Mickey" is gossiped to be found behind the Mickey-eared silhouette, such as carpet design and dinnerware. This specific design is interpreted as feng shui in Cantonese culture. Airport Express (MTR)
The Airport Express is one of the lines of the Hong Kong MTR system. It links the urban area with the Hong Kong International Airport and the AsiaWorld–Expo exhibition and convention centre. It is the only rail link to the airport's terminal. It runs parallel to the Tung Chung line, a traditional rapid transit line, from Hong Kong station to just south of the channel between Lantau Island and Chek Lap Kok, on which the airport was constructed. The line continues to the airport and terminates at AsiaWorld–Expo. Disneyland Resort Line
The Disneyland Resort line is a heavy rail MTR line connecting Sunny Bay to the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, coloured pink on the network diagram. It is the seventh line of the former MTR network before the merger of MTR and KCR, and the world's first metro line designed to service a Disney theme park. There are only two stations on this line, Sunny Bay and Disneyland Resort, and the line operates as a shuttle service between these two stations. Sunny Bay () is an MTR station in Yam O. It is between and stations. The station is an interchange station between the and the to Hong Kong Disneyland. The station was originally to be named ''Yam O'' (). ''Yam O'' was not used probably because of its ominous connotations (Cantonese ''Yam'' is more commonly known to English speakers as Mandarin ''yin'', which means darkness or a negative quality. Disney's Hollywood Hotel is one of three hotels at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort in Penny's Bay, Lantau Island, Hong Kong. It officially opened with the resort on Monday, 12 September 2005. It is themed to 1930s Hollywood. The hotel has over 600 guestrooms. It is in Islands District. Theme The Garden of the hotel is decorated with a Hollywood theme.
