Honda CB600F Hornet
The Honda CB600F (known as the Hornet in Europe and Brazil and 599 in the U.S.) is a standard motorcycle manufactured by Honda. It is powered by a liquid-cooled inline-four engine, originally a detuned version of that in the Honda CBR600 sport bike, which currently produces around . The 'Hornet' name was not taken to North America as AMC, and its successor, Chrysler, had trademarked the name with the AMC Hornet. History The Honda CB600F Hornet was introduced for Europe in 1998. It was based on the CB250F that was restricted to at its home-market (Japan) because of local laws (this bike was released only in Japan from 1996 or 1997 until 2015, when it was succeeded by the CB300F). A sport bike (sports motorcycle, or sports bike) is a motorcycle designed and optimized for speed, acceleration, braking, and cornering on asphalt concrete race tracks and roads. They are mainly designed for performance at the expense of comfort, fuel economy, and storage in comparison with other motorcycles. Honda CBR600F
The Honda CBR600F is a CBR series ' four-cylinder sport bike made by Honda. The first model of the CBR600F was sold from 1987 to 1990 and is known in the US as the Hurricane. In Austria and Mexico, a smaller version, called CBR500F, was offered. The subsequent models are designated as CBR600F2, F3, F4 and F4i respectively. In 2011, Honda released a more modern model with the same name. The original CBR600F along with the CBR750F and CBR1000F was Honda's first inline four-cylinder, fully-faired sport bike. An automotive facelift (also known as mid-generational refresh, minor model change or minor model update, life cycle impulse) comprises changes to a vehicle's styling during its production run – including, to highly variable degree, new sheetmetal, interior design elements or mechanical changes – allowing a carmaker to freshen a model without complete redesign.
