Homi F. Daji (5 September 1926 – 14 May 2009) was a member of the 3rd Lok Sabha of India. The couple had one son and one daughter, both of whom died at an early age. Daji served as a member of the senate of Vikram University. State legislator Daji contested the Indore B seat in the 1952 Madhya Bharat Legislative Assembly election. He finished in second place with 2,185 votes (10.89%) and was thus unsuccessful. 1962 Indian General Election
General elections were held in India between 19 and 25 February 1962 to elect members of the 3rd Lok Sabha. Unlike the previous two elections, each constituency elected a single member. Jawaharlal Nehru won another landslide victory in his third and final election campaign. The Indian National Congress received 44.7% of the vote and won 361 of the 494 elected seats. This was only slightly lower than in the previous two elections and they still held over 70% of the seats in the Lok Sabha. Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha
The Hindu Mahasabha (officially Akhil Bhārat Hindū Mahāsabhā, ) is a Hindu nationalist political party in India. Founded in 1915, the Mahasabha functioned mainly as a pressure group advocating the interests of orthodox Hindus before the British Raj and within the Indian National Congress. Vikram University is located in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, India. The university was named after the ruler Vikramaditya. It was established in 1957. Parsis () or Parsees are an ethnoreligious group of the Indian subcontinent adhering to Zoroastrianism.
