Homer Eugene Asa Dick (March 22, 1884 in Three Mile Bay, New York – January 22, 1942 in Rochester, New York) was an American lawyer and politician from New York (state), New York. Life He was the son of Charles H. Dick (1858–1942) and Ida P. (Maine) Dick (1861–1919). Dick was a member of the New York State Senate (46th D.) from 1922 to 1928, sitting in the 145th New York State Legislature, 145th, 146th New York State Legislature, 146th, 147th New York State Legislature, 147th, 148th New York State Legislature, 148th, 149th New York State Legislature, 149th, 150th New York State Legislature, 150th and 151st New York State Legislatures. Three Mile Bay, New York
Three Mile Bay is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Lyme in Jefferson County, New York, United States. The elevation is . As of the 2010 census it had a population of 227. The hamlet has its own post office, a volunteer fire company, and boat launches for fishing and recreation in the various outlying bays that draw from Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence seaway. History The community was settled between 1810 and 1820. Early resident Asa Wilcox built 48 brigs, propellers, schooners, and other seafaring vessels from 1835 to 1853. Some of these vessels, like the '' A.E. Vickery'', ultimately joined the more than 500 shipwrecked vessels now resting at the bottom of the St. Lawrence River and Lake Ontario. Watertown is a city in, and the county seat of, Jefferson County, New York, United States. It is approximately south of the Thousand Islands, along the Black River about east of where it flows into Lake Ontario. The city is bordered by the town of Watertown to the south, east, and west, and is served by the Watertown International Airport and the ''Watertown Daily Times'' newspaper. In the middle of Watertown lies the Public Square Historic District, which was built in 1805 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1984.
