Homecoming (2019)
The 2019 Homecoming was a professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by Impact Wrestling. It took place on January 6, 2019, at The Asylum in Nashville, Tennessee. It was the first event in the Homecoming chronology. Production Background Initially Impact Wrestling, then known as Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), produced weekly pay-per-view shows which operated as the company's main source of revenue, in place of monthly pay-per-view events used by other promotions. These shows took place mostly at the Tennessee State Fairground Sports Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, nicknamed the "TNA Asylum". The name "Homecoming" comes from their return to the Fairground for the first time since 2010. Impact Wrestling (stylized as ''IMPACT! Wrestling''), is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Nashville, Tennessee. It is a subsidiary of Anthem Sports & Entertainment. Founded by Jeff and Jerry Jarrett in 2002, the promotion was initially known as NWA: Total Nonstop Action (''NWA-TNA'') and was associated with the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), though not an official member. In 2004, the promotion became known as Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), but it continued to use the NWA World Heavyweight and Tag Team championships as part of its agreement with the NWA. Ohio Versus Everything
Ohio Versus Everything (OVE, stylized as oVe) was an American professional wrestling stable that consisted primarily of Sami Callihan, Dave Crist, Jake Crist, and Madman Fulton. The group's name is based on all four members hailing from the state of Ohio - the Crist Brothers are from New Carlisle (billed from nearby Dayton), Callihan is from Bellefontaine (West Central Ohio), and Fulton is from Toledo. Julian Micevski (born September 20, 1989), better known by his ring name Ethan Page, is a Canadian professional wrestler currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he is a member of The Firm. Page is best known for his work in Impact Wrestling and is noted for his partnership with Josh Alexander as The North (formerly Monster Mafia). John Randall Hennigan (born October 3, 1979) is an American professional wrestler and actor, better known by the ring name John Morrison. He is best known for his time in WWE, Impact Wrestling and Lucha Underground.
