Home Minister (TV Series)
''Home Minister'' is an Indian Marathi reality game show which is aired on Zee Marathi. It was started on 13 September 2004. It is the Zee Marathi's third longest-running Indian television series in Marathi TV shows. Concept The show has the format that Aadesh Bandekar visits different homes in different cities and plays the various games with women who calls him "Bhauji". The show has various type of games and Aadesh Bandekar also chat with women and their families. Every episode winner receives a saree called Paithani. Zee Marathi
Zee Marathi is an Indian general entertainment channel which carries programming in Marathi. It is owned by Zee Entertainment Enterprises. The channel was launched on 15 August 1999 and was known as Alpha TV Marathi until 28 March 2005, then it was renamed as Zee Marathi. It is the first Marathi GEC channel. A HD version of this channel, Zee Marathi HD, was launched on 20 November 2016. Reception The channel also has launched some mobile apps like Tumcha Aamcha Jamala, Home Minister, Kisaan Abhiman and Talent app. The channel content could also be viewed on ZEE5 app. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Zee Marathi stopped their all current shows from 27 March 2020 and they reran their old shows during lockdown period. After that from 8 June 2020, they started some short & new lockdown series and from 13 July 2020, they started their original shows. Paithani
Paithani () is a variety of sari, named after the Paithan town in Aurangabad district from state of Maharashtra in India where the sari was first made by hand. Present day Yeola town in Nashik, Maharashtra is the largest manufacturer of Paithani. Paithani is characterised by borders of an oblique square design, and a ''padar'' with a peacock design. Plain as well as spotted designs are available. Among other varieties, single colored and kaleidoscope-colored designs are also popular. The kaleidoscopic effect is achieved by using one color for weaving lengthwise and another for weaving width wise. The History of Paithani Sarees The history of Paithani sarees can be traced back to 1712, when the Nizam of Hyderabad, Asaf Jah II, tried to introduce the Paithani sarees to the royal court.
